CasePlus Transforms Case Management for the Directorate of Public Prosecutions

Training Session on the Case Management System

In an effort to simply the management of cases by the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP), Idias Corporation has successfully concluded training for the implementation of CasePlus, a case management system developed by the company. The training program was tailored to address the specific needs of the DPP. It covered various aspects of the system, including user interface navigation, data entry, case approval, case handling, case management and reporting. This marks the beginning of a transformative journey aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the DPP's operations

The DPP is responsible for instituting and undertaking prosecution of criminal offences in Malawi. With this mandate, the DPP generates volumes of paper-based files that can more effectively be managed if automated rather than manually, considering the fact that DPP’s operations extend over all the 29 districts of Malawi through the main administrative zones of Lilongwe, Blantyre and Mzuzu

With the training phase completed, Idias Corporation will be shifting its focus to providing ongoing support and knowledge transfer to the DPP. This next phase is crucial to ensuring that the DPP fully realizes the benefits of their investment in the system. Over the coming months, Idias will be dedicated to offering technical support, ongoing system administration and refresher training to reinforce the initial learning

Developed by Idias Corporation, CasePlus is designed to streamline case handling, improve data management, and ensure seamless coordination across various stages of prosecution
